Stay Active & Have Fun
One of the early summer highlights for athletes in the Adirondacks is the annual Tupper Lake Tinman Triathlon! This premier race always attracts competitors from around the region. 2018 is the 36th running of this event, and it’s set to take place on Saturday starting at 8:00am.
Looking to relax in Tupper Lake rather than tackle the Tinman Triathlon? Visit The Wild Center on Saturday for Relax on the Raquette, a fun and easy paddling trip on the beautiful Raquette River. Space is limited for these trips.
If you’ve ever wanted to try fishing in the Adirondacks, then mark your calendar for this weekend! This Saturday and Sunday have been recognized as Free Fishing Days by NY State, which means you can go fishing in the state’s fresh waters without a license. All other fishing regulations apply.

A concert featuring Rusted Root members Michael Glabicki and Dirk Miller is going to be held on Friday at the Whallonsburg Grange in Essex. Experience an evening of new songs and re-envisioned old favorites!
