Enjoy Birding, Biking & Cruising
Don’t miss out on the 14th Annual Adirondack Boreal Birding Festival throughout Hamilton County in the Adirondacks. There will be birding hikes, walks, safaris, outings, and seminars all weekend long. Registration is required for each outdoor event.
The 11th Annual Bike Rodeo in Tupper Lake will take place at the Tupper Lake Emergency Services Building on Saturday from 10:00am-2:00pm. Highlights of this year’s event will include a bounce house/obstacle course, a bike rodeo, a bicycle helmet giveaway, cotton candy and snacks, games, and more. Admission is free!
Each year on the second Saturday in June, bicyclists from around the region take part in the annual Black Fly Challenge. This year, the course will begin in Inlet and end in Indian Lake, and over half of it will bring riders through the rugged Moose River Recreation Area.

Ride your motorcycle to Warrensburg and check out the annual Warrensburg Bike Rally, which is located at the Warren County Fairgrounds. This free admission event features great deals on all kinds of motorcycle products and services, food vendors, and even live entertainment.
The world’s largest multi-brand motorcycle touring rally has cruised back into Lake George! This exciting event includes a massive trade show at the Festival Commons at Charles R. Wood Park in Lake George, rides, concerts, cruises, and more.
Stop by the Adirondack History Museum in Elizabethtown this Saturday for the 7th Annual Classic Car Show, featuring a wide variety of antique and classic vehicles from multiple car enthusiasts. There will also be a barbecue by the Elizabethtown Volunteer Fire Company.
Get Outdoors & Run
The 2018 Lake Placid Marathon & Half Marathon will kick off simultaneously at 8:00am on Sunday in Lake Placid. The starting area will be on Main Street adjacent to the Olympic Speedskating Oval.
Head to the Dolgeville Fire Department this Sunday and enjoy the 20th Annual Run for the Violets! This annual running/walking event will offer race day registration at 7:00am.
