Farm 2 Fork Festival 2018 – Saturday, September 1
Held annually in Saranac Lake, the Farm 2 Fork Festival is a showcase of the region’s bounty and offers demonstrations, workshops, and plenty of tasty food to try. If you’re a foodie, then this is one event you should definitely attend! Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Adirondack Pollinator Project, which aims to help pollinators thrive.
2nd Annual Wilmington Mountain Bike Festival – Friday, August 31 – Sunday, September 2
Want to spend the weekend with your fellow mountain bikers? Pack up your bike and sign up for the 2nd Annual Wilmington Mountain Bike Festival. You’ll find a variety of events happening in the Whiteface Region, such as group rides, parties with live music and food, and mountain bike demos.
10th Annual Hobofest – Sunday, September 2
Plan a trip to Saranac Lake’s Riverside Park on Sunday afternoon for the 10th Annual Hobofest! This free music festival celebrates the independent hobo spirit and features a diverse range of local musicians and traveling veterans. Local favorites Blind Owl Band, Crackin’ Foxy, and Bucket Ruckus are all scheduled to perform.
36th Annual Olympic Car Show & Parade – Sunday, September 2
Head to the Village of Lake Placid this Sunday and check out the community’s 36th Annual Olympic Car Show & Parade. Cash awards, plaques, and even Olympic-style medals will be awarded to the best in show at the Olympic Speed Skating Oval. Even if you’re not showcasing a car, you will still be able to enjoy the BBQ, live entertainment, and parade of cars.

Long Lake Labor Day Chicken Barbecue & Fireworks – Saturday, September 1
The Labor Day festivities in Long Lake will be held a few days early on Saturday at the Mt. Sabattis Pavilion. Get ready for delicious barbecue food, live music with the Fulton Chain Gang, and an awesome fireworks show to end the night.
129th Labor Day Celebration in Port Henry – Saturday, September 1 & Sunday, September 2
Visit Port Henry in the Eastern Adirondacks this weekend for a two-day Labor Day Celebration full of family-friendly events. The schedule includes the popular Port Henry Regatta, fireworks at the pier, a Labor Day parade, and much more.
Labor Day Weekend Celebration in Old Forge – Sunday, September 2
The Old Forge Visitors Information Center will host a Labor Day celebration this Sunday evening at the Old Forge Lakefront. Join them for a raffle drawing (for a 2018 Ford Mustang!), live music with the Paul Case Band, and then a spectacular fireworks display.
