The Adirondack Canoe Classic – The 90 Miler – Friday, September 7 – Sunday, September 9
The 90 Miler is a three-day boat race that has become an Adirondack tradition. Featuring canoes, kayaks, and guideboats, the race begins in Old Forge and ends at the NY State Boat Launch on Lake Flower in Saranac Lake.
Old Forge Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K – Saturday, September 8
The popular 90 Miler isn’t the only sporting event happening in the Old Forge area this weekend. Runners will be excited to learn that the annual Old Forge Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K will be held on Saturday morning. The course will bring runners from Old Forge towards Eagle Bay.
Sip Fest – Saturday, September 8
On Saturday from 12:00pm-4:00pm, View Arts Center will host the all new Sip Fest, a beer, wine, cider, and liquor festival. Taste a variety of delicious craft beverages, and fill up on food, which will be available for purchase at the event. All attendees will also receive a souvenir sampling glass to use and take home with them.
