Have Fun Supporting Great Causes
It’s time for Adirondack Winery’s 6th Annual Drink Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraising Weekend at their Lake George and Bolton Landing tasting rooms. Plan a trip to the area and attend the wine tasting sessions, check out the games and raffles, and help raise funds for breast cancer research!
Back this year and better than ever, the PBS Plattsnerd 3.0 at Champlain Centre Mall will be a celebration of all things nerdy. Highlights will include a cosplay competition, gaming, artists tables, special vendors, and more. Funds raised through Plattsnerd will be reinvested into the community through local programming and outreach initiatives at Mountain Lake PBS.
Hosted at the Club House at the Whiteface Club & Resort in Lake Placid, the all-new Gala of Miracles will help raise funds for the University of Vermont Children’s Hospital. Over 50 furniture makers and business owners have donated items for the event’s silent and live auctions.
Go on an Outdoor Autumn Adventure
Two of the best ways to see the spectacular colors of fall are on a hiking or biking adventure. Take a look at some of the trails that are recommended for leaf peepers this season, and then head out this weekend!
If you’re looking for a fun fall activity to do this weekend, then consider going on a family trip to a corn maze. There are a variety of these seasonal attractions in and around the Adirondacks that are just waiting to be explored.
