4th Annual Keeseville Autumn Festival – Saturday, October 13
Bring the family to the Elks Lodge in Keeseville on Saturday and enjoy an exciting autumn festival. From 12:00pm-4:00pm, this free festival will feature live music, BBQ, a chili contest, crafters, games for kids, and more.
Applefest at Billy Bob’s Orchard – Saturday, October 13 & Sunday, October 14
Experience a fun-filled weekend at Billy Bob’s Orchard in Putnam Station during their annual Applefest on Saturday and Sunday. Pick your own apples, take a scenic hay ride to the pumpkin patch, and eat tasty cider doughnuts. Live music will take place on Saturday afternoon.
Snowflake Excursion – Saturday, October 13
Join the Raquette Lake Navigation Company for a special Snowflake Excursion cruise to close out their 2018 season. Passengers can expect complimentary cider, doughnuts/fried cakes, a cash bar, and scenic views of the fall foliage. Boarding will be at 1:30pm, and reservations are not required.

Drink Pink! Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraising Weekend – Friday, October 12 – Sunday, October 14
It’s time for Adirondack Winery’s 6th Annual Drink Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraising Weekend at their Lake George and Bolton Landing tasting rooms. Plan a trip to the area and attend the wine tasting sessions, check out the games and raffles, and help raise funds for breast cancer research!
PBS Plattsnerd 3.0 – Saturday, October 13
Back this year and better than ever, the PBS Plattsnerd 3.0 at Champlain Centre Mall will be a celebration of all things nerdy. Highlights will include a cosplay competition, gaming, artists tables, special vendors, and more. Funds raised through Plattsnerd will be reinvested into the community through local programming and outreach initiatives at Mountain Lake PBS.
Gala of Miracles to Benefit the University of Vermont Children’s Hospital – Saturday, October 13
Hosted at the Club House at the Whiteface Club & Resort in Lake Placid, the all-new Gala of Miracles will help raise funds for the University of Vermont Children’s Hospital. Over 50 furniture makers and business owners have donated items for the event’s silent and live auctions.
