The always popular Adirondack Plein Air Festival isn’t until August, but Saranac Lake ArtWorks is already gearing up for the big event! Find out who has been selected Juror of Awards, and how artists can participate.

Master painter Sarah Yeoman has been named the Adirondack Plein Air Festival Juror of Awards for the 11th annual year of the event. The festival entails a full week of outdoor painting with multiple events and draws nationally known artists from throughout the US, Canada, and beyond.
The 2019 festival takes place August 12th to the 17th, with the jurying on the 16th. Yeoman will be presenting over $6,000 in awards the evening of the 16th at the Special Preview Party. The Show & Sale is free and open to the public from 12pm to 5pm in the Town Hall on Saturday, August 17th.

Yeoman has solid connections with the Adirondacks, including a 100-year-old, off-the-grid, family camp on Indian Lake. She’s participated in the festival before, and has exhibited her paintings recently at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts. She’s known for her expressive watercolor techniques.
