The Saranac Lake Winter Carnival ends this Sunday, so get over there while you still can! The Ice Palace is the main attraction, but there’s a whole schedule of events going on, including a parade on Saturday.

The three-day long Old Forge Winter Carnival includes a snowflake derby, night skiing, live music performances, fireworks, and more.

Lake George Winter Carnival Weekend 2

The second weekend of the Lake George Winter Carnival is this weekend. Various events include an ATV poker run, a BBQ cook-off, an ice diving demonstration, a snowman building contest, and more.

The Long Lake Fish and Game Club is hosting their annual ice fishing derby on Saturday. It costs $25 to participate and there will be cash prizes for trout and landlocked salmon.

Vintage snowmobile races are happening in Newcomb with the Newcomb Snowmobile Club. This is a fun one for spectators as well.

The latest Cabin Fever Sunday at Adirondack Experience is on Edna West Teall, a woman of the late 1880s who exemplified the Adirondack ideal of self-reliance and resourcefulness. Admission is $5.
Fort Fever Series: Soldiers of Color in the Atlantic World

Fort Ticonderoga will be exploring how armies of the early Atlantic World dealt with issues of race and military service. Admission is $10.
