Head out to Lake Placid for their 11th annual Turkey Trot to benefit school food pantries and Adirondack Health’s Life to Fit Program. The race starts at the Speed Skating Oval and circles around Mirror Lake.

Help support the Saranac Lake Interfaith Food Pantry and Saranac Lake Students’ Needs Fund at the 5th annual Bitters & Bones Saranac Lake Turkey Trot. The event is open to all ages and is followed by a silent auction.

This weekend both Old Forge and Inlet will be turned into winter wonderlands during their annual Adirondack Christmas on Main Street celebrations. Weekend highlights include parades, tree lightings, fun activities, raffles, and appearances from Santa and Mrs. Claus.
22nd Annual Country Christmas Tour in Indian Lake

Visit Indian Lake this weekend for their annual Country Christmas Tour. Shop Adirondack-made art and crafts for everyone on your holiday list at locations throughout the community. There will also be fun activities, like a candy cane hunt, wreath and kissing ball demonstrations, a movie screening, and visits from Santa.
11th Annual Adirondack Holiday Stroll in Speculator

Spend your Black Friday shopping from local businesses in Speculator. There will be a Mini Mall in Lake Pleasant Library, specials at local stores, Victorian carolers, and a tree lighting ceremony in Dean Lane Park.

Ticonderoga Area North Country Christmas

Ticonderoga’s annual North Country Christmas kicks off this weekend with the 10th Annual Small Business Saturday, a craft fair, the Ticonderoga Festival of Trees Open House, a tree lighting, holiday hay rides, crafts, and more! North Country Christmas continues through December 8 with a full lineup of events.
The Nutcracker Ballet – North Country Ballet Ensemble

Attend a holiday tradition in Plattsburgh at North Country Ballet Ensemble’s 34th Annual The Nutcracker Ballet. SUNY Plattsburgh’s Hartman Theatre will host four performances over the course of the weekend.
