The Adirondack Snowshoe Fest takes place in two locations in Saranac Lake and Paul Smiths. There’s a full schedule of events with winter forest bathing, live music, a snowshoe scavenger hunt for kids, and more.

Snocade
through Sunday, February 23
Snocade is still going on in Indian Lake! This weekend’s festivities include a snowshoe hike Friday morning at Natural Stone Bridges and Caves, an Ice Fishing Derby on Saturday morning, and more outdoor and indoor activities.
40th Anniversary of the 1980 Olympics

The Olympics anniversary celebration is also still going on throughout this week and weekend. Friday brings an 80s Family Fun Party at the Olympic Jumping Complex, there’s a wine tasting and more events on Saturday, and Sunday rounds out the fun with a Community Artifact Night.

Adirondack Pond Hockey Tournament

Part of the Lake George Winter Carnival, this pond hockey tournament takes place Saturday and Sunday and is reported to be twice as big as last year’s.
