This weekend in the Adirondacks is packed with fun! Check out music, crafts, and special events throughout the region.
Live at Hotel Saranac: Blessid Dirt
November 4
See Blessid Dirt at Hotel Saranac on Friday evening! This homegrown duo brings incredible depth to their original folk music, with influences including John Pine and Led Zeppelin. Enjoy a cocktail at the Great Hall Bar and listen to their soulful lyrics and dazzling guitarwork.
First Friday at Adirondack Carousel
November 4
Enjoy free carousel rides and popcorn during the First Friday celebration at Adirondack Carousel from 5-8 PM. A 50/50 raffle winner will also be drawn at 7 PM, so don’t forget to get your ticket while you’re there.
November 5
Enjoy a gorgeous run over the historic battle site where the Rogers Rangers fought during the French and Indian War. The cross-country course is fun and challenging, and there is a 2-mile run/walk option for those who would like to participate in something a bit less demanding.
Adirondack Stampede Charity Rodeo
November 4-5
Head down to Glens Falls for an exciting two-hour rodeo show featuring some of the best pros on the regional and national rodeo circuits. After the rodeo, which takes place on Friday and Saturday evenings in the Cool Insuring Arena, stop by Heritage Hall at the arena for a Round-Up Party—everyone’s invited! All rodeo proceeds benefit Double H Ranch, an Adirondack camp for children with serious medical conditions.
Day of the Dead & Badass Women

On November 4th, decorate a sugar skull, add a dedication to the Ofrenda, enjoy “dead bread” and horchata, and watch the film Coco in Saranac Lake.
