New Year’s Eve at Friends Lake Inn
December 31 – January 1
Spend the evening at Friends Lake Inn—it’s going to be a classy and fun time! The night will begin with hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar in the Birch Bistro at 7:00 PM. Dinner will be served at 8:00 PM, followed by a dessert buffet and a sparkling wine toast at midnight. Friends Lake Inn icon Richie Ortiz will be playing music for you to dance along to all night long!
New Year’s Eve at Hotel Saranac
December 31 – January 1
Enjoy dinner and drinks at Hotel Saranac! From 5:30-10 PM, dine on a pre-fixe meal at Campfire Adirondack Grill + Bar, then from 8:30 PM-12:30 AM, celebrate the new year at the Great Hall Bar. There will be live music from Silver Arrow Band all evening long and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight.

Visit Gore Mountain for the first freestyle competition of the snow season and the last one of 2022! The Sleighride Holiday Jam course will feature some of the rails and jibs in the mountain’s existing terrain park lineup located on Upper Sleighride. Some walking will be required, and participants can register in either the 13 & under category or 14 & older category.
2023 New Year’s Day Lake George Polar Plunge
January 1
Take a dip in Lake George to start the new year right! Bring the whole family to this fun event for a swim you’ll never forget—who knows, it may even become an annual New Year’s tradition. Don’t forget your towel, dry clothes, and swimsuit for the occasion!
2023 New Year’s Day Frostbite Cruise
January 1
On the first day of 2023, Lake George Shoreline Cruises (renamed Lake George Waterfront Cruises as of the end of 2022) will be hosting their 36th annual Frostbite Cruise! Take a 90-minute cruise of Lake George and enjoy beer, wine, champagne, delicious food, and live music from Funk Evolution. You won’t want to miss this awesome celebration!
