Winter Workshop Series: Women’s Petticoats

This special event is part of Fort Ticonderoga’s Winter Quarters series. In this two-day, hands-on workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to make your own women’s petticoat, and learn more about the construction of these essential garments.

This weekend, go see the enchanting Wild Lights at The Wild Center in Tupper Lake. Take a walk on the looped trail to see thousands of twinkling lights, then head inside to warm up with hot drinks and food, and to see even more light displays.
Tickets are not required prior to arrival, but sell outs are anticipated, especially because this weekend is the final weekend of the FISU Winter World University Games. Pre-purchasing tickets also speeds up the check-in process.
FISU Winter World University Games
Through January 22
Come out for the last weekend of the FISU Winter World University Games in Lake Placid! Events this weekend include Alpine skiing, ice hockey finals, and a bunch of activities such as snowball cornhole tournaments. Don’t miss the closing ceremony on Sunday evening, with a concert and fire dancing to follow.

Enjoy winter fun in Lake George at a majorly discounted price during Winterfest. The $20 wristband gets you a discount at participating hotels and restaurants, as well as a memorable horse-drawn carriage ride, hot cocoa, and more. The $30 wristband gets you all that PLUS a winter activity of your choice; winter activity options include Adirondack dog sled rides and snow tubing! The wristband is good for the entire season.
