Are you an avid fisher? Or, maybe, you’re just looking for something fun to do this weekend? Check out the Mike Norris Ice Fishing Derby on Raquette Lake! Participants will spend an exciting day out on the lake fishing for lake trout, perch, salmon, and more. The day concludes with final weigh-ins at 3:30pm, with cash prizes and more for winners! Registration for this event will begin at 6am at the Raquette Lake Fire Hall.
Saranac Lake Civic Center will be offering a free open skate this Sunday (for the first time since 2022) at their brand-new facility. All ages and experience levels are welcome at the open skate, making it the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon! However, there are no onsite rentals, so participants must bring their own skates.
