4th Annual Strawberry Festival at the Warrensburgh Riverfront Farmers' Market

The Fourth Annual Strawberry Festival at the Warrensburgh Riverfront Farmers' Market is scheduled for Friday, June 12th from 3-6 p.m.

About this event

The event will be held at the Recreation Field Pavilion on Library Avenue, which features plenty of parking and restrooms.

Stop by for locally grown and freshly picked berries, strawberry recipes, sampler plates, and much more! Donations are welcomed and appreciated.

Activities & Information Booths

  • Master Gardeners: Horticultural information and seasonal vegetable recipes will be provided by the Warren County CCE Master Gardeners.
  • Children’s Activities: Hands-on crafts, "take and make" kits, and library event information will be offered by Shelby Burkhardt, Director of Richards Library.
  • Health & Public Services: Program information and giveaways will be available from the NY State of Health, NYS Department of Public Service, and BHSN Therapeutic Foster Care.
  • Wellness Checks: Free blood pressure checks, plus stroke and heart attack information, will be provided by the Glens Falls Hospital Emergency Department.
  • Entertainment & Perks: Enjoy live music by Two Fold, free freshly brewed coffee, and a free chance to win $20 in Farmers’ Market Bucks to spend with the vendors.

Strawberry Treats, Produce & Food Vendors

Local farms, bakers, craft beverage producers, and artisans will be offering a variety of produce and value-added products with a strawberry theme:

  • Juniper Hill Farm: Providing an abundance of locally grown produce, including ripe, freshly picked strawberries.
  • Baked Goods: Dawn’s Delights, Halo's Sweets and Treats, J. Gallup Farm, and Love Bakes the World Go Round will feature strawberry-infused pies, cakes, cookies, and more.
  • Springbrook Hollow Farm Distillery: Offering beverage tastings with a strawberry twist.
  • Whitefield's Farm (Don Whitefield): Featuring local chicken, turkey, herb- and spice-enhanced sausages, and veggies, as well as cheeses from Nettle Meadow Farm and local honey.
  • Trillium Farm (Delbert Chambers): Offering multi-color chicken and duck eggs, maple syrup, and preserves.
  • Chipmunk Acres Farm (Tina Combs): Selling fresh herbs (oregano and chives in bundles), packaged dried herb and spice mixes, candy, jam, decorative signs, and cabin/farmhouse decor.

Artisans, Crafts & Specialty Items

  • The Pooch Pantry (Connie Smith): Healthy, homemade dog and cat treats.
  • For the Love of Rocks (Linda O'Neil): An amazing display of handcrafted silver and gemstone jewelry.
  • Calico Corner (Elizabeth Marshall): Themed fabric crafts.
  • Aunt B's Baubles (Brooke Hample): Strawberry-themed earrings and more.
  • Loon Song Soaps & Sundries (Deborah Bennett): Handmade soap, rope baskets, and woven products.
  • Three Daughters Clay (Melissa Cole): A selection of seasonal, holiday, and event-themed polymer clay gifts and jewelry.
  • Patty Lafountain: Returning with personalized bookmarks, drawings, magnets, handmade ornaments, and small wooden boxes.
  • Teohoken Turning (Ed Frulla): Sharing the secret of stabilized, highly figured spalted maple used to make his handcrafted jewelry.
