Long Lake: 4th of July

kid with face paint for 4th of July
When: Sunday, Jul 4, 2021 10:00 AM

COVID Update: Current NYS DOH Regulations only permit 200 people at outdoor events with masks and social distancing or if we raise the size to offer space for 500 we will need proof of vaccine OR proof of Covid-19 Negative Test within 3 days of event.  NYS residents can download the Excelsior Pass to their phone after vaccination. We anticipate these rules will be updated before July 4th, but in case these rules are still in place on July 4th – please be prepared.

We don’t expect children to be vaccinated as they are not currently eligible to receive the vaccine, but we will require all participants and spectators to wear masks, even outdoors during this event.

10am. The Annual 4th of July Games will begin on the Town Ball Field, Sponsored by the Town of Long Lake. Games for all ages! Classic favorites include small children scavenger hunt, balloon race, sack races, the venerable egg toss, and three-legged race. Children enjoy collecting their winnings from our exclusive prize booth.

6p.m. the Annual 4th of July Celebration will begin at the Town Beach. ** See Covid-19 rules above.   Sponsored by the Town of Long Lake. Live music by Grit and Grace  will be performed at the Town Beach. Attendees to the Beach concert will have to show proof of vaccine OR a Covid-19 Negative test within 3 days before entry to the viewing area at the beach.
