Meet the instructors: Mrs. Sutton has been teaching ELA at the Oliver W. Winch Middle School for twenty years. She enjoys all kinds of genres, especially graphic novels! Some of her first graphic novels read include: “The New Kid” and “Hey There, Kiddo,” not to mention some of the ‘old school’ graphic novels such as “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” and “Bad Kitty,” which she used to read with her son!
Mr. Porter has been an elementary art teacher and current middle school teacher for 13 years. He has always enjoyed sketching and creating stories - especially after one of his favorite comics of all time, “Calvin and Hobbes.” When Mr. Porter isn’t in the classroom, he enjoys coaching hockey & cheering his son at of his many sporting events!
