March may be all about maple, but the sweet festivities continue in April thanks to the Hadley Maple in April Festival.

This year marks the 23rd for the annual event, that involves live maple demonstrations, activities for kids, horse-drawn wagon rides, and more, including the Lil' Sugar Dust Off Car, Truck, and Tractor Show.

Calling all kayakers, canoers, and paddlers - the Adirondack Paddlefest in Old Forge features the latest in paddleboats and gear, and you can have an opportunity to test out the boats yourself and ask the sellers questions.

The Great Adirondack Garage Sale encompasses over 200 miles of garage sales from Cranberry Lake to Speculator. Take a scenic spring drive as you shop for vintage antiques, kitchen items, jewelry, toys, clothes, and more goods.

Americade in Lake George

Americade is the largest multi-brand motorcycle touring rally that takes place in the southern portion of the Adirondack Park in Lake George. The rally includes guided rides, live entertainment, and other special events.

The Wilmington Whiteface Mountain Bike Race includes a 100K and 50K mountain bike race. The course features a mix of rugged backcountry roads, smoother tracks, and plenty of climbing.

The four-day Adirondack Boreal Birding Festival includes birding hikes, walks, outings, seminars, and more throughout Long Lake, Indian Lake, Speculator, and other areas in Hamilton County.

Black Fly Challenge - Inlet to Indian Lake

The Black Fly Challenge takes place every year on the second Saturday in June, and this biking race runs from Inlet to Indian Lake, but the start and finish switches off each year. The course is 40 miles long.
