Build a Greener Adirondacks
Join us on Thursday, March 21, for Build a Greener Adirondacks (BAGA), a day-long conference and vendor exposition designed to provide local builders, contractors, architects, code officials and engineers with an overview of current green building practices.
Featured speakers include Kevin Stack of Northeast Green Building Consulting, Mike Phinney of Phinney Design Group, and other experts. This year, the focus shifts to the qualitative aspects of green building: health, wellness and comfort. Extensive break-out sessions include topics on effective marketing practices, green building and codes, air sealing, passive houses, and sourcing healthy materials and products. Registration for the event costs $50 and includes lunch and free beer sampling from Raquette River Brewing.
