Labor Day Weekend may be the ceremonial end of summer, but there is still a lot of Adirondack fun to be had in Old Forge! Take advantage of the three-day weekend by making a reservation at Water’s Edge Inn or Old Forge Camping Resort, both within walking distance to Enchanted Forest Water Safari, which will close for the season on Labor Day, Monday, September 1st 2025.
After a day at the park take the family on the Old Forge Lake Cruises to watch the Labor Day Fireworks from the water. Enjoy the McCauley Mountain Scenic Chairlift Ride and the Adirondack Scenic Railroad, both will be in operation for spectacular views of the early colors of autumn in the Adirondack forests.
