The Annual Memorial Bike ride was started in 2003 with the proceeds going to the Scholarship Fund at Bolton Central School. The scholarship has grown to a $1,000 amount given each year to a graduating senior. The first ride started with ten people and has grown over the passing years.
The 2019 Ride is Sunday, August 4th. There are two routes offered this year: 40-mile and 15-mile. Both are at an intermediate level and they begin and end at the Hub in Brant Lake.
The 40-mile ride will bring to Schroon, Loon and Friends Lakes and the 15-mile ride will bring you to the Schroon Lake boat launch and back.
Registration begins at 8am. The 40-mile ride begins at 9am and the 15-mile ride at 10am from the Hub Bike Shop. A delicious lunch is served at the Hub after the ride.
Mileage is approximate. Helmets are required. The event is rain or shine - please dress appropriately.
There were 65 riders last year and the goal this year is to double that to 130.
