Wiley's Retrospective at Adirondack Artists Guild
On Thursday, January 7, a retrospective of Ken Wiley’s watercolors and acrylics opens at the Adirondack Artists Guild in Saranac Lake. Twelve paintings, selected from the fifty-five years that he has been painting, make up the show.
Many of Wiley's paintings were inspired by his extensive travels, when his eye was stimulated by the design and arrangement of his subject matter. Variation is a guiding force behind his work; he uses different stylistic approaches and selects a wide range of subjects.
The show will be up through January 31. Due to Covid 19 all patrons must wear masks and maintain social distancing, and no more than six visitors may be in the gallery at one time. Individual appointments can be made by contacting the artist or emailing the guild at guild@adirondackartistsguild.com.
