Alain will demonstrate to a live audience his technique for portrait painting. He recently gave a very well-received demonstration at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, during their Pastel Portraits: Images of 18th-Century Europe. This is your opportunity to learn about pastels and portraits, painlessly, while sampling exotic pastries and desserts. $10 members & exhibiting artists/$15 for not-yet-members ($5 discount when you attend the Gallery Walk About)
