Bear Inn the Woods B&B is located in northern New York in the foothills of the Adirondacks. It's an ideal spot to enjoy the outdoors in all seasons and be as active or laid back as the spirit moves you.

We are halfway between Utica and Old Forge affording guests an opportunity to use the B&B as a base from which to explore the great things both have to offer-- cultural and historical sites in the city, natural wonders in the mountains. We pride ourselves on providing comfy beds, delicious, full country breakfasts, hot tub, gathering room with wood stove, private natural surroundings with friendly folks if you wish to visit and peaceful privacy if you just want a getaway. 10 feet of beach rights are available on Kayuta Lake, a canoe and bikes are available for guest use. It's an ideal spot to enjoy the outdoors in all seasons and be as active or laid back as the spirit moves you. Snowmobile trails are accessed from our front yard. Groomed x-country ski trails (free to the public) are just 5 minutes away as are hiking trails, a golf course and biking opportunities. Rooms are available with both shared and private baths. Complete housekeeping facilities are available for all guests as well as internet access. For the adventuresome, an authentic native-American tipi is available for rent.
