Legacy Timber Frames is located just outside Saratoga Springs in upstate New York. Since 1988 Legacy has dedicated itself to producing beautiful timber frames that combine the best in old world craftsmanship and new world ingenuity.

Legacy Timber Frames designs, manufactures, and raises custom timber frame structures for residential, agricultural and light commercial construction. We can provide in-house custom design, work with your architect, or recommend an architect familiar with our timber frames. Our frames are hand crafted in our shop and are delivered to the site ready for assembly by our crew. We can provide an erected frame anywhere in the US but our primary market is the Northeast. SIP panel installation is also available.

Legacy Timber Frames proudly carries on a custom of building that has been practiced for centuries, using hand crafted traditional joinery and octagonal oak pegs, without any metal fasteners to connect the timbers. The classic tradition of mortise and tenon joinery is combined with a state of the art panel system to create an extremely energy efficient enclosure.

At Legacy, we dedicate ourselves to the art and craft of custom timber frame design and building. Our traditional method of construction comes from a time when homes were built to be lived in for many generations. We uphold this principle and carry on this legacy...today.
