Love Schroon Lake B & B my fiance and I look forward to spending time there each fall to enjoy the beautiful fall foliage from the many near by hiking trails. The rooms are extremely clean quiet and comfortable. Mark and Sharon have gone out of their way to create a great environment to be able to recover from the hustle and bustle of life!!!

The moment we drove in to park huge smiles came on our faces & stress quickly disappeared. This inn is perfect -- so relaxing & beautiful. Having breakfast on the lovely porch was very special & we truly enjoyed many lively conversations with our hosts Sharon & Mark. Mark is an excellent cook -- wonderful breakfasts & fresh baked goodies at 4PM. We enjoyed a glass of wine in the screened-in gazebo surrounded by meticulous landscaping, huge shady trees & plants in bloom everywhere. The location is great for day trips to a quaint town where you'll find a lovely beach. Our hosts were very informative suggesting hiking trails & sites to see. Trails are close by with prestige ponds for a refreshing swim. Our first night in The Leland Room -- lovely & the separate sitting area with comfy furnishings was very nice. Two nights in The Cottage -- our favorite retreat beautifully decorated in Adirondack style. The beds were extremely comfortable. Sharon & Mark truly made our stay. They were gracious & ready to attend to any need. Our three days there were awesome as everything was perfect. Their inn is delightful; can't wait to return to experience every season! Fall foliage isn't very far away!

First off, thank you, thank you much and more. You will never meet two nicer people Mark and Sharon (the owners of S.L. B&B). The place is well kept neat tidy clean and absolutely well presented. The rooms feel like home away from home welcoming cozy and comfortable, well decked out to make you feel at home. The grounds are well cared for with lots of greenery/flowers for the eyes delight. Let's get to the heart of the matter, the breakfast and it's presentation,"WOW",You both do a wonderful job. Mark the Chef does a remarkable job in its presentation and taste that we dare say rivals any five star gourmet establishment and the service? "Priceless". (Thanks brother, you fed us well (we absolutely enjoyed every crumb.) Note to all potential guests; do ask about Mark's signature breakfast piece de resistance (to die for, yes it was that good). We would go back to this establishment in a heart beat and highly recommend it' if you would like to just get away from it all and simply relax and feel welcomed and pampered. Add to it all as before mentioned, two genuinely sweet people. Best wishes guys, hope our paths cross again.

Mark & Sharon Piper have created a jewel in the village of Schroon Lake. Right from the moment you arrive to (soothing music playing in their home) to the moment you checkout you are treated like valued friends. Mark's breakfast is five stars as are his breads, muffins and cookies. The inn is beautifully decorated and the Pipers offer everything from a library of movies & popcorn, umbrellas, bug spray and blankets by the front door for cool evenings on the porch as well as spring water for warm afternoons. Juices, tea & coffee and muffins early a.m., gourmet breakfast at 8:30 on the porch or in the elegant dining room. Coffee, tea and cookies are out at 4 pm. The suites are comfortable and clean! There are way too many extras to list that the Pipers offer for your convenience and comfort..bottom line, you can't go wrong here!

From the moment we arrived, until the moment we left, our experience at the Schroon Lake Bed and Breakfast was first rate and deserves five stars (or more.)
Nothing was missed, nothing was lacking, or to put a more positive spin on things, this place has everything.
It was a family vacation, so we were accompanied by our adult children (isn't that a paradoxical statement?) meaning we occupied two different rooms. Ours was a suite in the main building, theirs was a large Adirondak style room with two queen sized beds in the annex. Both were beautifully appointed, featured a well stocked fridge with gratis soft drinks and water, comfortable furniture, elegant decor, flat screen tv, DVD player (with a huge library of DVDs in the main building) immaculate cleanliness, and even big, white, fluffy bathrobes for everyone's use. Mark and Sharon could not have been more pleasant, and Mark's baking deserves special note. Come ready to eat and relax. You'll be well taken care of.
