Maple Weekends officially take off on March 22-23rd and March 29-30, but we needed something to hold us over. That's why we're celebrating National Pancake Day to satisfy our sweet tooth and enjoy some of that sugary Adirondack nectar. 
It's sort of a strange idea - selling only gourmet olive oils, balsamic vinegars, sea salts, and accessories - but for the Saratoga Olive Oil Co., it's proven genius over and over. 
Though their flagship store, set in the heart of downtown Saratoga Springs, only opened in 2011, the Braidwood family has already expanded their business to Burlington VT, and just this month opened a new storefront in Lake Placid, NY.

Paul Smith's College is proud to present the opening of their new restaurant, The Palm! The new restaurant offers a wide variety of mouth-watering dishes.
The Crab Shack is the name of the newly renovated dining establishment at Maple Ridge Park in Crown Point. This replaces the RV Park's former family restaurant in favor of a more casual snack bar but with a twist.
Think you're a phenomenal cook? Can you whip up a delicious Southwestern culinary creation? Gus and Deb Castellucci along with their team can! One of five teams who made it to the Double H Ranch Chuckwagon Challenge finals, the team will compete on Friday, June 29 for the gold star prize of $15,000.

The Adirondack Pub & Brewery, in the village of Lake George, will be hosting their 5th annual Brewers Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 15th. The event will benefit the WAIT House in Glens Falls.
