The practice of forest bathing has been identified as offering several health benefits, such as lowered blood pressure, reduced stress, a stronger immune system, less anxiety, and greater attention and concentration. Winter forest bathing is a seasonal adaption of forest bathing, and one of Adirondack Riverwalking's main services.

Sign Up for a Trip

From December 15, 2019 - April 1, 2020, Adirondack Riverwalking's experienced forest bathing guides will be available for private trips in the Saranac Lake/Lake Placid/Tupper Lake area. The maximum group size is 10 people, and winter forest bathing is suitable for ages 10+. Rates for each two-hour trip start at $200 for 1-5 people (snowshoes included). Contact them and customize a trip that works best for you and your group.

Or, you can sign up for a trip with one of their winter partners, which include The Wild Center and the Dewey Mountain Recreation Area. Registration info can be found on Adirondack Riverwalking's website.
