Beginning Thursday, March 12, 2020, through today, many planned activities and events have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are processing event cancellations as received, but this is a rapidly changing situation involving hundreds of small businesses. We ask everyone for their patience and understanding, and urge everyone to check in with businesses before visiting. Please continue to support your local community in any way that you can, whether that be takeout, gift certificates, online shopping, charitable donations, etc.
PLEASE NOTE: The information you are viewing for this event is from Saturday, Aug 24, 2019. Please check back for updates.
The second annual Mohawk and Abenaki Art Market features master and emerging Indigenous artists from the Mohawk communities of Akwesasne (located where Ontario, Quebec, and New York State intersect on the map) and Kahnawake (located adjacent to the city of Montreal).
Sample their rich cultural heritage, artistic inspirations, and modern adaptations through a wide range of art-forms and creativity.
