The Champlain Area Trails (CATS) announced the new Broughton Ledges Trail in the fall of 2021. The five-mile loop includes a switchback trail up the mountain with views of Broughton Ledges, and is rated as difficult.
Directions: From the east - At the intersection of Windy Hill Road and Ensign Pond Road, go west on Ensign Pond Road for 2.3 miles. From the west - At NYS Route 9, go east on Casa Turn Road about .2 miles to Ensign Pond Road. Head east on Ensign Pond road for 7.5 miles.
