The best way to reach Dug Mountain Brook Falls is by canoe from the DEC Indian Lake Islands boat launch.
From the boat launch, paddle across Indian Lake for 2 miles, staying right around Long Island. Continue for 5.5 miles until you reach the end of the lake, and leave the water where the Dug Mountain Brook meets Indian Lake. There is a picnic area here, along with a 4-foot waterfall.
To get to the main falls, follow the north side of the stream for 0.4 miles.
