Franklin Falls Flow is a great fishing spot for walleye and other species.

Anglers looking for walleye in the Adirodacks need to try Franklin Falls Flow. THe DEC has been stocking walleye in the falls since 1997. 

Use jibs and worms or spinners and worms in the rapids coming into the flow and in the old river channel. 

You can also find smallmouth bass and bullhead in Franklin Falls Flow. The waterway is located on the north side of the McKenzie Mountain Wilderness. 

Angerls can access Franklin Falls at the DEC hand luanch and from a parking area near the bridge above the dam. The DEC launch is located about 2 miles west of Bloomingdale.
