Jay Falls is located just upstream from Jay's historic covered bridge that crosses the Ausable River.
From the intersection of NY 86 and NY 9 in Jay, take John Fountain Road (opposite 86), then turn right onto Brick Store Lane at the bottom of the hill.
Park in the small lot on Brick Store Lane, and look upstream from the bridge to see the falls.
