Meacham Lake Campground provides a beautiful view of a truly undeveloped area. Fishing, boating, hiking, and other campground games including volleyball and horseshoes can be found on site. Perfect for anglers, nature enthusiasts and families!

Meacham Lake Campground is located on the north and west shores of 1,203-acre Meacham Lake. The area is surrounded by the northern mountains and extensive tracts of Wild Forest state land and provides beautiful scenery. Popular activities include:

Northern pike, yellow perch and bullhead fish can be found in Meacham Lake. Powerboats, rowboats and canoes are permitted in the lake, and the boat launch parking area accommodates 50 vehicles. Those who desire to hike can find beautiful views at the top of Debar Mountain at Meacham Lake and St. Regis Mountain in Paul Smiths. Within the Debar Mountain Wild Forest, there are four lean-tos. Other attractions include the Tri-Lakes region to the south and Malone to the north. Additionally, the Adirondack Park Visitors Interpreter Center at Paul Smiths is located 8 miles south of the campground. Lastly, the Junior Naturalist Program offers an opportunity for children ages 5-13 to participate in an outdoor classroom with their families.

The campground is very accommodating and can accept all types of camping units from small tents to large recreational vehicles. Primitive and walk-in sites are offered by the west side, while tents and RVs are accommodated by the main campground. More specifically, amenities include:

A boat launch within the campground on the eastern side of the lake includes accessible features for people with disabilities. A concrete ramp and floating docks grant lake access. The 21-space parking lot for vehicles and trailers includes one dedicated space for those with disabilities.
