Overview

Just north of Lake George, you'll find two beautiful waterfalls on Northwest Bay Brook.

Take Exit 22 off I-87, and travel north on Route 9N toward Bolton Landing. Once you reach the village, continue six miles north until you cross the Northwest Bay Brook.

Just past the bridge, you'll see a parking lot on your right.

After parking, head back down 9N and take the trail marked by a beam and stop sign. This route will end at the top of the pair's upper falls.

If you'd prefer to experience the falls from below, locate the Northwest Bay Brook Fishing Access Site, and enter the woods across the road on the right. The trail isn't marked, but you will arrive at the brook's edge eventually and will be able to see both the upper and lower falls.

The 25-foot upper cascade is approximately 60 feet upstream from the more narrow lower slide.
