About this event
Warrensburg is getting ready to celebrate one of summer’s favorite fruits with a community blueberry festival at the Recreation Field Pavilion on Library Avenue. The event will feature local berries, blueberry treats, crafts, live music, and plenty of family-friendly activities.
Visitors can shop from local farms, bakers, craft beverage producers, artisans, and vendors offering early and late varieties of organically grown fruit. The festival will also include preserves, baked goods, cheeses, distilled beverages enhanced with blueberries, and blueberry-themed crafts.
Food lovers can stop by the blueberry recipe sampling table, browse recipes featuring berries from appetizers to desserts, and pick up seasonal vegetable recipes from Warren County CCE Master Gardeners. Donations at the sampling table are welcome and appreciated.
Families can enjoy children’s activities from Richards Library, including hands-on crafts, take-and-make kits, and library event information. Live music by Peter Burall, free freshly brewed coffee, free blood pressure checks, giveaways, and a chance to win $20 in Farmers’ Market Bucks will also be part of the day.
Event times and information subject to change and not guaranteed.
