About Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York's Camps
Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York (GSNENY) is a youth organization that serves over 10,000 girls and their families across 15 counties in New York State. Their mission is to offer every girl a chance to practice a lifetime of leadership, adventure, and success.
One of the ways they are able to introduce girls to new and exciting experiences is at their New York State summer camps. GSNENY operates two overnight camps for girls in the Adirondacks and Lake George as well as three day camps in Queensbury, East Greenbush, and Galway.
Experience Camp in the Adirondacks
There's no better place for a memorable summer camp than the spectacular Adirondack Park. In Lake Clear, Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York has an overnight summer camp named Lake Clear Camp, which is a short drive from Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, and Paul Smith's College.
Featuring amazing views of the high peaks and surrounding wilderness, campers will have the chance to try sailing, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and other outdoor activities. Weekly field trips to The Wild Center and Paul Smith's Visitor Interpretive Center are another part of the experience.
The summer camp program is open to all girls entering kindergarten through grade 12 (both Girl Scouts and non-Girl Scouts).
