I worked at Saratoga Apples in 1977 bagging apples on a assembly line for a few months it was Bullards Orchards back then! There apples were always delicious! Moved back to Ny after 36 years a few years ago! Great Products!

Just a rant about apple picking this weekend. The orchard we elected to go to, Saratoga Apple, might want to think about the way they charge for the "experience". Apparently, this is their new policy. Back in the day, a family would go to the orchard, pick apples and be charged accordingly. Nope. Not there. Every adult in your party has to have a bag. EVERY ADULT. The cost of the bag? $10. If you have children between the ages of 4-12, they must each have their own smaller bag. EVERY CHILD 4-12. The cost of their bags? $7. So a family of 4 would have to pay $34 and would be required to take home 4 bags of apples! Ridiculous!!! We didn't want to load the kids up and try to find another place, so we reluctantly paid for 3 adults. Never again. We will never return!!! Vermont next year. ??????
