Tupper Lake Woodsmen's Days

Cost: Admission Price: $7 for adults and $3 for children

With a history dating back to the 1930s, the Tupper Lake Woodsmen's Days is weekend-long festival designed to celebrate the region's storied heritage of logging and lumberjacking. Presented by the Tupper Lake Woodsmen's Association, the Annual Woodmen's Days has something for everyone.

Friday Night Festivities:

  • 6PM - Woodsmen’s Dinner at Raquette River Brewing with Live Music

Saturday, July 14:

  • 2018 Woodsmen’s Days Parade 10:00AM, Theme: ” Rolling Down The River ”, Town Hall DeMars Blvd. to Municipal Park
  • Opening Ceremony - 11:45AM - Grandstand Area
  • Chainsaw Carving Contest - Runs All Day - Grandstand Area
  • Chainsaw Carving Auction - 1PM - Grandstand Area
  • Woodsmen’s Loading Competition - 2PM - Heavy Equipment Area
  • 4 Man Team Competition - 3PM - Heavy Equipment Area
  • Chainsaw Carving Auction - 6PM - Grandstand Area
  • Night Games Registration - 4:30PM – 6:30PM - Main Office
  • Kids Greased Pole - 7PM - Grandstand Area
  • Night Games (Greased Pole Climb & Tug of War) - 7:30PM - Grandstand Area

Sunday, July 15:

  • Chainsaw Carving Contest -10AM - Grandstand Area
  • Chainsaw Carving Auction - 1PM - Grandstand Area
  • Skidding Competition - 1PM - Heavy Equipment Area
  • Truck Driving Competition
  • Chainsaw Carving “Masterpiece” Judging - 4PM - Grandstand Area
  • Equipment Demonstrations run throughout the day and will be announced prior to their start

Note: Scheduled Activities for the kids run throughout the weekend!
