Editor’s Note 07/31/20 9:15am: Enchanted Forest Water Safari has made the difficult decision not to open for the 2020 season.
Guests visiting Enchanted Forest Water Safari in Old Forge this year can enjoy the Serengeti Stampede, The Mamba Strike, and Killermanjaro’s Revenge. See what to expect with each new thrill below!
Serengeti Stampede: A Nearly 300-Foot Long Water Slide
The Serengeti Stampede is a four-lane, 293-foot mat slide racer with a jungle animal theme. These massive, colorful tunnels elicit the playful nature of creatures who stampede through the Serengeti in Africa. Riders must be a minimum of 42 inches tall.
The Mamba Strike: A Speed Slide With Loops & A Drop Launchpad
The Mamba Strike is a 285-foot enclosed body slide that starts with a drop through a trapdoor, releasing you onto the slide, which then loops around the Serengeti Stampede. Following along with the jungle theme, this ride is named after the venomous snake that originated in Africa. The ride has a minimum height requirement of 48 inches and a maximum 300-pound weight limit.
Killermanjaro’s Revenge: A Legend Returns
Many guests were disappointed to see Killermanjaro, the original speed slide, leave Enchanted Forest Water Safari. But now it’s back, and it’s bigger. This is a 207-foot-long speed slide that drops you through the floor into the slide and then zooms straight to the finish in one long drop – no twists and turns here, just one fast ride! The height and weight requirements are the same as the Mamba Strike.
