Vegas-Style "Ever-Globe" Sphere Planned for Undisclosed Adirondack Location
Move over, Las Vegas. While the world has been staring at the neon lights of the Nevada desert, an insider scoop has revealed that the next big thing in immersive entertainment is headed for a much quieter destination: the heart of the Adirondack Park.

We've received word that a private development group has broken ground on a 6,000-seat state-of-the-art concert and cinematic venue designed to be invisible to the naked eye.
Internal documents refer to the project as the "Ever-Globe"—a play on the region's iconic evergreens and the venue’s spherical, high-tech design.
From The Strip to The Spruce
The project appears to be a direct spin-off of the smaller-scale Sphere model announced for National Harbor, Maryland. While the Maryland venue is being built near the MGM casino, the Adirondack version is the first to utilize a specialized wilderness design model.
Leaked documents suggest the Adirondacks were chosen as the global flagship test site for a new "bio-mimicry" architecture. This 6,000-seat "Satellite" model is designed to deliver a high-impact immersive experience while proving that world-class entertainment can exist in sensitive, high-profile environments without ruining the view.
Pixels in the Pines: A Camouflaged Sphere
Knowing the Adirondack Park Agency (APA) has some of the strictest aesthetic regulations in the country, developers have opted for a Deep Woods camouflage. Taking a cue from the monopine cell towers that dot the Northway, the exterior of the structure is wrapped in a specialized Live-Texture LED skin.
This isn't for advertisements. Instead, the high-definition screen projects hyper-realistic, real-time bark patterns, 40-foot-tall pine needles, and intricate forest textures.
From a distance, the venue is designed to look like a massive, naturally occurring part of the treeline. This organic appearance is what gives the Ever-Globe its name, allowing the massive structure to sit in "evergreen" stealth mode year-round.
Accessible via the Northway
While the exact coordinates remain confidential as final land-use permits are processed, the "Ever-Globe" is reportedly located just minutes off a central Adirondack Northway exit. Early reports suggest the North Hudson area—already home to the state-funded Frontier Town Gateway—is the primary site for the buildout.

Silent in the Wilderness
One of the biggest hurdles for any North Country development is noise and light pollution. According to the proposal, the "Ever-Globe" features Vacuum-Seal Sound Isolation:
- Total Silence: The exterior is fully soundproofed to aerospace standards. A sold-out rock concert could be happening inside while a deer sleeps undisturbed just 50 feet from the entrance.
- Wildlife-Safe Lighting: The exterior LEDs are calibrated to the Amber-Spectrum, ensuring the local owl and bat populations aren't disoriented by the camouflage glow.
Coming Summer 2027?
The project aims to solve the region's lack of a year-round, indoor premier concert space. Rumor has it the inaugural show will be an immersive 360-degree film titled The 46ers, allowing guests to experience the vertical ascent of Mount Marcy in haptic seats—all without breaking a sweat.
Looking forward to the new Sphere? While we’d love to see a concert inside a giant camouflaged marble, we're sad to say—Happy April Fools!
