The Adirondack Balloon Festival is scheduled for September 23 - 26, 2021 and the agenda looks a little different this year, so read on for what to expect!

2021 Adirondack Balloon Festival Schedule

Thursday the 23rd

Block Party in Downtown Glens Falls
6pm to 9:30pm
Walk-About Balloon, balloon baskets on display, car show, kids activities

Friday the 24th

Balloon Flight at Floyd Bennet Memorial Airport in Queensbury
5pm to 6pm (gates open at 3pm) (launch time approximate)
Flight of up to 50 balloons, including special shapes

Saturday the 25th

Balloon Flight & MoonGlow at Floyd Bennet Memorial Airport in Queensbury
6:30am to 7:30am (gates open at 4:30am and close after launch)
Flight of up to 40 balloons, including special shapes
8pm (gates reopen at 3pm)
Light Up the Night: MoonGlow featuring up to 50 balloons - bring your flashlights!

Sunday the 26th

Balloon Flight at Floyd Bennet Memorial Airport in Queensbury
6:30am to 7:30am (gates open at 4:30am)
Walter and Joan's Mass Ascension flight of up to 40 balloons and shapes

Please Note:

There are no commercial rides, food vendors, craft fair, or exhibitors this year due to the pandemic.

The Adirondack Balloon Festival is subject to weather conditions and flight times are approximate. Visit AdirondackBalloonFest.org for up-to-date information.

There are no dogs, drones, remote control aircraft, or smoking allowed at any festival events.
